As long as we
observe daylight savings time these rides carry on:
Mondays -
6:30pm
The Recovery Ride
About 20 miles of cruising
around Buckhead to spin the weekend's racing (or hard riding) out of the
legs. Riders start here (and some roll down from Jeanne's Body Tech).
Tuesdays - 6:30pm
The World Championships from
Sandy Springs
A fast ride of about 35 miles. Starts at 220
Johnson's Ferry. It's near the corner of Roswell Rd and Johnson's Ferry in
Sandy Springs - where Atlanta Cycling's Sandy Springs location was before it
went out of business.
Wednesdays -
6:30pm
The Peachtree Battle
Another aggressive
ride. Shorter than Tuesday, But very quick. The ride starts at East
Rivers Elementary School on the corner of Peachtree Rd. and Peachtree Battle in
Buckhead.
Thursdays - 6:30pm
The Chastain Ride
AKA the GL Long Option
Starts at the Chastain Amphitheatre Parking Lot
just North of Chastain Park along Powers Ferry. About 25 miles of fast
mostly smooth riding.
Thursdays - 6:30pm
The
Buckhead Belly Ache
Starts at St. Phillips Cathedral on Peachtree
Road in Buckhead. Lots of options regarding distances and lots of riders
make the Belly Ache a good choice for riders of various levels of
experience.
Saturdays -
9:00am
Northside's Revenge
Leaves from The Bicycle Link
and travels through the most exclusive neighborhoods in Atlanta, this is one of
the most scenic rides in the city. Do not let that fool you; we also climb 3000
vertical feet in just 21.08 miles. The pace is sometimes brisk and the hammer
goes down on the climbs. The lead riders usually allow the bulk of the group to
crest before continuing.
